Why not take to the water to experience Hamburg with your guests? With the event ship Großer Michel, you can experience Hamburg from beyond the water’s edge. Built in 1955, this former ferry is your floating event venue for any occasion. After extensive conversion work in the 1990s, the event ship now combines modern comfort and Hanseatic tradition. Its upper deck is now a stylishly furnished event lounge in subtle, warm colors, with a roof that can be opened in summer and panoramic views over the water – the perfect setting for unforgettable events with friends, family, colleagues and clients.

Experience your event on the traditional ship
Dine, hold meetings or celebrate your special event in a unique atmosphere as you enjoy a river cruise along the Elbe with up to 120 persons. In addition to a salon that seats up to 80 people, there is a conference room for 12 on board this traditional vessel, as well as seven comfortable cabins and a spa area complete with sauna.
For balmy evenings under the stars in pleasant company, the boat’s mahogany after deck is the place to be: with its comfortable furnishings, it can also be used as a lounge area or dance floor.
