Anyone wishing to take their event to a whole new level is sure to find just what they are looking for in the St. Johanniskirche [St. John’s Church] in the Altona district. Consecrated in 1873, this Neo-Gothic building has been used since 2011 for corporate and private events quite simply destined to be divine! Designed by the architect Johannes Otzen, this basilica with its glazed yellow bricks and narrow side naves is a gem of church architecture for its outer structure alone. But not only that: with its elaborate church windows and decorative wall paintings by Michel Welter, the interior of the event church is also a monument to art and history.
The heavenliest venue in the Hanseatic city!
If it’s a case of making your event special, this location will exceed all expectations! The pews are not fixed, so that all sorts of different seating arrangements are possible, for occasions ranging from elegant gala dinners to lavish parties - for which our customizable, state-of-the-art event lighting technology may of course also be used, allowing the vaulting to be illuminated in vivid colors.
Your event in the Eventkirche Hamburg - simply out of this world, simply heavenly!
